About

Kate is a decorative artist and illustrator living in London. Having taken some time out of her career to focus on her young children, Kate found herself painting at home in order to satisfy her creative side. After giving a framed watercolour painting to a baby born into her family, commissions from friends, and then friends-of-friends followed, and what had started as a relaxing hobby began to grow into a small business.

With a childhood spent between rolling Herefordshire hills and the Highlands of Scotland, Kate's work is influenced by the natural world. Woodland scenes often feature in her work, with Beatrix-Potter inspired rabbits, mice, moles, foxes and garden birds adding whimsy and wonder to some of the pieces she creates.

Kate now spends her days designing and painting watercolour nursery art and bespoke children's furniture, including children's chairs, toy chests, keepsake boxes, door plaques, bookends and rocking horses. Filled with personalised illustrations and lovingly hand-painted, Kate hopes that they will bring joy to the little people they are for, and be treasured for years to come.
